2021-2022 FALL SOCCER OPTIONAL SEASON DETAILS AND SIGN UPS
To pre-register for the fall season and get added to the email list, please pre-register in Team Snap here:  Pre-registration is now closed.  Please contact Coach Engels for more information.
All preseason training listed is optional.  If you plan to be a Varsity Starter; core work, distance running, strength training, ball work, and stretching is expected to be done on your own.

Options:

  • June 1st- August 5th
    • Every Tuesday/Thursday from 11:00-12:00
    • Soccer specific strength and conditioning with Junkyard.  Junkyardtraining.net, 14697 E Easter Ave Suite E, Centennial.
    • Cost: $85 paid directly to Junkyard. 
    • Please indicate intent in the Pre-Registration form below, then we will send you waiver and payment info.
  • June 2nd – June 30th
    • Every Monday/Wednesday from 3:30-5:00
    • Captain led scrimmages, runs, conditioning at Ponderosa.  Cost: $0.
    • Items to work on: Receiving, Controlling, Winning, Corner Kicks, Throw-ins, Finishing, Conditioned for 80 minutes of fast paced play.
    • Please indicate availability in Team Snap so the captains know who to contact if there are changes.
  • June 5th – July 31st
    • Every Other Saturday from 7am-9am
    • Captain led conditioning runs/stairs at the MAC/other ideas welcome.  Cost: $0
    • Please indicate availability in Team Snap so the captains know who to contact if there are changes.
    • These could be cancelled due to club tournaments etc and will be cancelled on July 17th due to DU camp.
  • July 5th – August 5th
    • Every Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 3:30-5:00
    • Coach led at Ponderosa.  Cost: $0
    • Please indicate availability in Team Snap so the coaches know who to contact if there are changes.
  • July 16th-18th
    • University of Denver Camp
    • The camp provides a great opportunity for your team to improve collectively and for the players to be seen individually by a great group of college coaches. 
    • Cost: $145 paid directly to DU.
    • In order to secure our team a spot in this year’s camp, please visit the Denver Soccer Camp website and get registered as quickly as possible.  You can register by using the following link: https://denversoccercamp.com/team_camp  Just scroll until you find Ponderosa.
    • Please indicate your intent in the Pre-Registration form below once you’ve registered to help monitor how many Ponderosa will be sending. 
    • Jim will also be attending this camp to view your progress.
  • August 9th – November 13th
    • Season Starts (all dates tentative)
    • Daily practice after school from 3:15-5:00
    • Tryouts August 9th
    • First game August 19th
    • Please note, the season is currently scheduled to have games during fall break.  If you plan to play Varsity, please try to not schedule vacations between August 9th- November 13th as CHSAA doesn’t allow us any leeway.

    • Note – you need to pre-register for the 2021-2022 season so we can collect clothing sizes and you can then update your availability for the optional trainings.  This is how we will communicate and many times there are spring/summer lightning storms, so this is a quick way to get you an update.

POTENTIAL FEES
Registration fee paid to the school is approximately $200.  The School Registration fee covers fields, referees, port a potty etc. 
Team fee paid through a link is approximately $150-$250 and covers practice jerseys, warm up jerseys, balls, captain bands, pinnies, nets, new goals, etc.
Camp fees such as DU Camp and Junkyard vary and are paid directly to the provider.
