As one of a few non-cut sports at Ponderosa we hope to not only draw some of the very best girls tennis players in Parker. Our Junior Varsity program is all about teaching, coaching and leading those who perhaps have never even held a racquet before. While our Varsity Program is expected to be extremely competitive, our JV program is perfect for our newer to intermediate players striving to become varsity in the years to come or learn how to play one of the very few sports known as a "Sport for Life".
Girls Tryouts are the full week of Monday, February 27th from 3:30 - 6:00 PM each day (subject to change due to weather conditions this time of year).
Also, tryouts for girls tennis are closed to the public by school mandate.
Participation in tryouts is mandatory for all varsity aspiring players while our Junior Varsity program has a little more flexibility. ALL Ponderosa athletes must complete an online registration prior to Friday, February 24th. This includes the completion of a physical with the form uploaded in registration. If you have not yet been able to get the physical check with the school but the local "minute clinics" and urgent cares are able to provide what is needed on short notice.
