We will host voluntary Tuesday and Thursday practices
at PHS from 8-10AM
We will host voluntary Monday and Friday practices
at alternate locations, times and locations are TBD.
Captains will host runs on Wednesday.
Athletes can attend ANY run on ANY days!
While summer runs are voluntary, there are certain expectations from athletes; they are still representatives of the school. The behavior expectations of athletes on the summer runs would be the same expectations of a student-athlete while in season. We expect athletes to adhere to the CHSAA rules of sportsmanship and athletes to follow the PHS Student Code of Conduct. All runners must fill out a liability waiver before attending or participating in summer runs.
The summer running program is designed to help any athlete
build a base for fall sports.
We are specifically designed to help runners in grades 9-12
prepare for the upcoming cross country season
with age-appropriate running workouts and group strength training.
We will discuss injury prevention, nutrition, and goal setting.
