PRESEASON INFORMATION:
Summer Runs:
June & July coach-led runs are available 4 times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
Captains' practice is available once a week (Wednesday)
Athletes can come to ANY voluntary practice on ANY day!
*ATHLETES MUST COME WITH A COMPLETED LIABILITY FORM TO RUN OVER THE SUMMER

GENERAL SEASON CALENDAR:
*These are dates from 2023. Dates ARE NOT updated later for 2024 season.
Pre-season: June-July practices
Regular Season: Begins August 1st @ 3:30 on the patio
Season Practices: August - October daily practice from 3:30pm - 5:45pm.
Registration: Due Aug 4th
Team Potluck: Aug 11 @ 6PM, Cobblestone Ranch Pool
Parent Meeting: Aug 11 @ 6PM, Cobblestone Ranch Pool
Spirit Store: Aug 7-12 (online store to purchase PHS XC gear)
Spike Night: Aug 14 @ 4-7PM (Team gear at discounted prices)
Team Photo: Wednesday, Aug 16 @ 3:30pm (wear uniform!)
Meets: One weekly meet (some are weekdays, others are weekends)
Team Dinners: The night before meets the team goes to a team member's house for dinner
Team Banquet: Scheduled for THURSDAY, November 9 @ 6:30pm (end of the season dinner and awards)

Practice and Meet Information:
Our weekly schedule includes daily practices and one meet a week.
Weekly Workouts: Usually include two days of hard workouts, two days of easy runs, one day for pre-meet, and a meet.
Transportation to meets is not usually provided, but parents develop carpool calendars.
Breakfast is provided by coaches for weekday meets
Uniform tops are provided for meets. Athletes must purchase black shorts for racing.
Athletes are responsible for bringing water, shoes, warmups, and uniform to practices and meets.
*JV and Varsity status and entry for meets is determined by racing times and coaches.
FEES:
$200 Douglas County Fee
$30 Fee for Team T-shirts
$40 Team Activity Fee
$15 / family member Banquet Fee
(Personal Expenses: Team Gear, Shoes/Flats/Spikes)
